Is PlasmaText an alternative to LiquidText on Android?

Yes. As of September 2026 LiquidText is available on iPad, iPhone, Mac and Windows but not Android. PlasmaText runs in any web browser, including on Android, and has an Android tablet app built for the pen that is coming to Google Play at launch.

Does LiquidText work in a web browser?

LiquidText's own site lists iPadOS, macOS and Windows apps, and its App Store listing adds iPhone and Vision Pro; we found no browser version as of September 2026. PlasmaText's main app runs in the browser at app.plasmatext.com.

How much do LiquidText and PlasmaText cost in India?

On the Indian App Store in September 2026, LiquidText Live is ₹549 a month or ₹5,499 a year, LiquidText Unlimited is ₹8,499 a year, and the one-time Pro II purchase is ₹6,900 to ₹7,900. Which one has AI that cites the page?

PlasmaText's assistant answers only from the documents in your project and shows the document and page for each answer, and its reports mark any quote it cannot find in your document as unverified. LiquidText announced a ChatGPT-based question-answering beta in 2023 and describes a broader AI suite as coming soon on its legal site.

Is there a free alternative to LiquidText?

LiquidText has a free Basic plan; its site lists multi-document projects and full inking under the paid plans. PlasmaText's free plan includes the pen, the highlighter, notes, search, offline reading on the tablet app, 20 documents in two projects, a board with 100 cards per project, and unlimited AI with your own API key, with no card and no time limit.
